Also known as the purple cone flower, it is the rhizome that is the most significant proven herbal immune system stimulant. Without toxicity is stimulates the body’s defenses against disease. It is also an antibiotic, antiviral, and restores inflamed connective tissue. It treats fevers and infections and may reduce allergies.
